Privacy Policy
What I collect, what I do with it, and what I will never do with it. Written in plain English rather than the usual wall of defensive legal text.
The short version
I collect the information you hand me on the application form, plus basic analytics about how people use this website. I use it to answer your enquiry and to run the business. I do not sell it, rent it, or trade it to anyone. If you want it deleted, email me and I will delete it.
The rest of this page is the detail behind that.
Who this covers
Prozpect Pro (“Prozpect Pro,” “I,” “me”) operates https://prozpectpro.com. This policy explains what happens to information collected through this website and through the phone numbers and email addresses listed on it.
Information you give me
When you submit the application form, I collect: your name, company name, phone number, email address, website address, trade, average job value, service area, current lead sources, crew capacity, and whatever you write in the bottleneck field. You choose what to put in these fields.
If you call or email me, I keep a record of that conversation and any contact details it contains.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics, which records things like your approximate location, device and browser, which pages you viewed, how you arrived, and how long you stayed. This is aggregate behavioural data, not information that identifies you by name.
- Call tracking. Some phone numbers shown on this site are tracking numbers. When you call one, the number you called from, the time, and the duration of the call are recorded so I can tell which marketing produced which call. Calls may also be recorded for quality and training purposes; if a call is being recorded you will be told at the start of it.
- Advertising. If Google Ads or Meta advertising is running, those platforms may set cookies to measure whether an ad led to a visit, and to show you ads later. You can opt out of personalised Google advertising through Google Ad Settings.
Text messages
If you tick the consent box on the application form, you are agreeing that I may contact you by SMS about your enquiry. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not stop me replying by email or phone if you asked me to.
Your phone number and SMS consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
How I use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and record your free market audit
- To research your market and competitors before we speak
- To provide services if we end up working together
- To send invoices and handle payment
- To improve this website and my own marketing
- To meet legal and tax obligations
Who else touches your data
I use third-party tools to run the business, and your information passes through some of them. Each one only gets what it needs:
- Customer relationship management — stores your enquiry and our correspondence
- Website hosting — serves this site and keeps standard server logs
- Google Analytics and Google Ads — measurement and advertising
- Email and calendar providers — correspondence and scheduling
- Payment processor — if you become a client. I never see or store your full card details.
Beyond that, I share information only when the law requires it, or to protect the legal rights or safety of myself or someone else.
What I will never do
I do not sell your personal information. I do not rent or trade contact lists. I do not share the details of your business, your revenue, or your marketing performance with anyone, including your competitors — and given that I work with only one client per trade in this market, that matters more here than it would elsewhere.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that do not become clients are kept for about two years and then deleted, unless you ask me to delete them sooner. Client records are kept for as long as we work together plus seven years, because tax and accounting rules require it.
Your choices
Whatever state you live in, you can email me at will.pollert@gmail.com and ask me to tell you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. I will do it, and I will not make you jump through hoops. Depending on where you live you may also have formal rights under a state privacy law; if you invoke one, I will honour it within the timeframe that law requires.
You can opt out of analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser. This site honours the Global Privacy Control signal where your browser sends one.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and the tools I use are mainstream providers with their own security programmes. No system is perfectly secure, and I will not pretend otherwise — but I do not store anything on this website itself, and I do not keep information I do not need.
Children
This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and I do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, email me and I will delete it.
Links to other sites
This site links to Google, to trade associations, and occasionally to client websites. Once you leave this site, their privacy policies apply, not this one.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the bottom of this page changes and the new version replaces this one. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the update.
