What your missed calls are worth

Defaults use published figures for this trade. Change them to match your business.

Your numbers
8

Your phone log has the real number. Industry call analytics put home service businesses at about 27 percent of inbound calls missed.

55

Not all of them. Some callers are suppliers, wrong numbers, or people who want a human and hang up.

40

Your real close rate on inbound calls, not on quoted estimates.

650

The $650 default is a blend. Angi puts the average plumbing repair at $341 ($99 to $989) and the average electrical job at $351 ($163 to $538); water heaters, repipes and panel work run into the thousands, and emergency call-outs bill 1.5 to 3 times standard.

167

Plumbing leads average $167 through Google Ads and $40 to $90 through Local Services Ads.

Your calendar

When this matters most

Both trades run year-round, which is unusual here. Your demand is steadier than the outdoor trades, so a leak in your phone handling costs you every month rather than seasonally. Cold snaps produce spikes: frozen and burst pipes arrive in clusters.

What this demo is and is not

Sakakawea Plumbing & Electric is a made-up company and Jordan is a made-up receptionist, invented for this page so you can watch the thing work without me putting a real client on display. The conversations are scripted so the page loads without a phone number or an API key.

The real system answers live. On a call you dial it yourself and try to break it, which is a better test than anything I can put on a web page. The arithmetic in the calculator is real either way and runs on whatever numbers you put in.
